AI portfolio management
A system I built to run my own portfolio with Claude Code. It reads your research, compares it with what you hold, watches your positions every night and keeps every decision on record. When you decide to act, it drafts the order. You approve it in IBKR.
New research goes into a local knowledge base and is compared with your positions: which names you hold, at what weight, what the source implies. You decide; the decision goes into the ledger.
After the US close, every position is checked against your rules: trailing drop, risk limit, your stop, over cap or under floor, stale thesis. An e-mail only when something fires, and written proof when nothing does.
Floor, natural size and cap are worked out from the live value of the portfolio every night. Theme allocation sits beside it.
One file per position: thesis, stop, conviction, when to look again, and an append-only log of every decision with its reason. Quantities and prices always come fresh from the broker.

All charts use a made-up sample portfolio.
